Fashion Show Fundraiser

Friday, March 30th, 11:00 am to 1:30 pm
Rolling Hills Country Club, 333 Hurlbutt Street, Wilton, CT 06897
$65 per person -- Entrée choice is Grilled Herb Marinated Flank Steak or Grilled Garlic Herb Shrimp served over mixed greens. Coffee, tea and soft drinks included. Wine for purchase.

An enticing silent auction & drawing for themed baskets (checks/cash) (5 tickets are $20) and a delicious lunch with your friends. Why not reserve a table? To register, please click to get the form to fill out and return it with your check (payable to Wilton Woman's Club) to WWC, PO Box 414, Wilton, CT 06897, by March 20th. Table reservations are for groups of 10-12. Each individual should send in the form along with their check. Space is limited, so after March 20th, please call 203-762-7114 to determine availability.

The goal of this annual fundraiser is to raise money for, and awareness about, three agencies supporting women, families, or education, in accordance with the mission of the Woman's Club:
Christian Community Action (CCA), Domestic Violence Crisis Center, and Positive Directions

Volunteer roles include coordinating donations to a silent auction/basket drawing, catering, modeling, set up/clean up, ticket sales, publicity, decorations. Meetings commence in January and are once a month, continuing up to the time of the show in April; each subcommittee also puts in time as needed to fulfill their roles.

BASKETS & SILENT AUCTION

The themed Baskets and Silent Auction portion of the fashion show are hugely successful – we raised over $14,000 on this alone last year! We need your help to make this year’s event even more profitable. Please contribute by donating an item or contacting those resources and merchants with whom you have relationships, to obtain goods and services that will entice our Fashion Show attendees to bid and buy!

Be creative and keep in mind that we can use almost anything of high quality – we will find a way to fit it in one of our themes or create a new one! Get together with other members to create a basket!

USE THE ATTACHED DONOR FORM
1. Complete a form for each donation
2. Make a copy and giver to donor for their records
3. Inform donor that the WWC will be sending documentation for taxes
4. Keep copy for your records and give original to Kathy or Ann
5. Please deliver the item to Kathy or Ann. If this isn’t possible, contact us so that we can make arrangements.

Please inform us of names/resources you intend to contact. We don’t want to appear disorganized by having more than one person contact a potential donor.
