May 5, 2012 - The Wilton Kiwanis and Wilton Rotary organizations teamed with other volunteers to improve a Westport home as part of HomeFront. The group of more than 20 led by team captain Bob Parisot and volunteer Coordinator Dr. Kevin Craw made major improvements to the home owned by a wheelchair bound woman. The crew tore down a wall that was blocking access to the out side back door of the kitchen and reconstructed that space. The house had a steep ramp without railings so a steel railing system was welded together providing safe access. Several rooms were completely painted and other carpentry and electrical work was done as well as "spring" cleaning of windows, floors and other areas. Photo by Jerry Holdridge.
